About the Event
Presenter: Howard Marsee
Zero-sum negotiations deal largely, though not exclusively, with dollars and numbers. Usually, the parties are looking for an acceptable number between two extremes. Mathematics, thoroughly understood and properly utilized, can become a valuable tool in the process. This workshop deals with such concepts as: anchoring, brackets, the zero line, numbers as semaphore, arithmetic breakpoints, brake lights, risk analysis, and the problem of multiple defendants.
