Ms. Potthoff has worked within the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court for over 20 years. Since 2008, she has served as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Director. Ms. Potthoff’s experience includes mediating, arbitrating, training mediators, implementing new programs and oversight of existing programs.

Ms. Potthoff is the past president of both the Association of South Florida Mediators and the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators. She is certified in the areas of Family, County, Dependency, and Circuit Civil mediation and is a primary trainer in the areas of County, Family, and Dependency mediation. Ms. Potthoff is the recipient of the following awards: President’s Award of Merit-Florida Academy of Professional Mediators-2005, Recipient of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Certificate of Appreciation-2005, Recipient of the Patricia Badland Award for Excellence 2002 and the Dispute Resolution Center’s Sharon Press Award-2019. Ms. Potthoff has presented and participated in various trainings locally and at state-wide conferences. Ms. Potthoff currently serves on the ADR Rules and Policy Committee.
