Fran Tetunic is Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and Director of the College’s Dispute Resolution Clinic, Fran trains and supervises students who provide pro bono dispute resolution services and teaches the Elder Law Seminar and Mediation Workshop.

An attorney licensed to practice law in Florida since 1984, Fran has served on Florida’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Rules and Policy Committee and as chair of Florida’s Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee. Fran has mediated approximately 2,000 cases and provides Continuing Legal Education and Continuing Mediator Education on mediation ethics and case law.

Her publications include law review articles on mediation case law and ethics and an article on mediator misconduct setting aside mediated agreements, which was published in the Harvard Negotiation Law Review. Fran co-authored two articles which were published in the beginning of this year – one on mediation confidentiality and one on the law of eldercaring coordination. She has served as an eldercaring coordinator since the inception of Florida’s pilot program.
